Chiniot, Pakistan: (Web Desk) Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in a public gathering of Party Workers said, “I will never disappoint you. The grandson of Bhutto will never abandon you.”
He called former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman as ‘two sides of the same coin’.
Bilawal said that both just want to grab power and have nothing for poor people, which has ruined the politics of Pakistan.
“Who is Nawaz Sharif showing this display of power,” he said strongly lamenting that the crucial GT Road was closed for three days for the people of the province just for his sake.
“Nawaz Sharif is remembering the Charter of Democracy after he is ousted from power,” he said. “He is now calling for a grand dialogue against the situation
Bilawal questioned that Nawaz Sharif is saying that seventeen prime ministers have been ousted from power, but should tell how many times he has been part of the conspiracies against them?.
He deplored that Pakistan is failing on various front including falling exports, decline in relations with US, lack of coherent foreign policy, border situation and the sacrifices of army personnel and Police.
He said that rising extremism and terrorism will not end solely operations sole, but rather a united nation which can develop a strong narrative and implement the National Action Plan.
“However, our leaders are only eyeing on power rather than national issues. They neither have the ability or the desire to address these problems.”
Bilawal vowed that the PPP will bounce back with a manifesto for everyone, and outlined the ‘pro-poor’ policies which it would implement if it comes to power.
“PPP is the flag-bearer for the development of Pakistan,” he said calling for support from poor, downtrodden, farmers and other marginalized segments of society.
Bilawal hailed the services by the PPP for the Chiniot including declaring it a separate district and setting up a body for furniture exports, which was ruined by the PML-N government which he said has wrecked institutions.
