New York: (Shoukat Zardari) A 26 years old  Pakistani petroleum Engineer Ayaz Hussain Jamali, working in Dar Petroleum’s Palouch Oil field in south Sudan was kidnapped along with three local workers on Sunday.

Mr. Jamali was working on the field when rebels from Riek Macchar Group kidnapped him on gun point. Machhar Group is fighting against the government and has already kidnapped two indian engineers last week.

Ayaz Jamali graduated from Mehran University of Engineering Jamshoro in 2014 and he joined the same company in September 2014. He is resident of Badin Sindh

His Brother Babar Jamali who is also working in the same company told Sindh Post that the situation in south Sudan is getting worst due to conflict between pro Government and anti Government forces.

Ayaz has already resigned from the job and he was booked to fly to Pakistan on Monday. This was his last day at work when he was kidnapped, Said Babar Jamali.

The family has appealed Pakistan’s Federal Interrior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan to take up the issue on diplomatic levels with Government of South Sudan for safe and early recovery of Ayaz Hussain Jamali
