Sehwan: A suicide bomber has reportedly exploded in the compound wall of  Sindh’s well known saint lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s shrine on Thursday evening leaving 80 dead and more than 100 injured, Reported media.

According to initial police report The suicide bomber exploded himself at 6:58 pm using an eight Kg of explosives which took life of more than 80 and leaving more than 100 as injured. The victims include women and children who were present at the shrine for Friday night Dhamal.

Recue operation is still in progress and injured are being transported to nearby hospitals in Hyderabad and Nawabshah.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Jawed Bajwa and chairman Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the blast on the shrine of Sufi Saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.

Following the incident the Shrine of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai is also sealed due to threat and security is set on high alert in all over Pakistan

Pakistan Army in a press statement has said the the recent blasts in Pakistan were planned in Afghanistan and Pakistan’s Military will strongly respond to the blast taking lives of innocent civilians.
