KANDHKOT: District administration has started a new business on the name anti encroachment drive in various areas of the district, harassing public for demolishing their homes, Sindh Post has learnt.

According to sources the Deputy Commissioner Kasmore @Kandhkot Hafeez Siyal is trying to bribe people to save their homes. The anti encroachment drive has become a pick and chose for the authorities and those not giving at least Rs. two lac to the front men of the DC are not spared, Sources added.

It was further revealed that the people with genuine documents of the Sindh Government are also being targeted to make more money. “Deputy Commissioner has also misguided the Rangers authorities, added Sources.

The affected residents have approached Sindh post and have shown their legal papers of the land, they also accused the Deputy Commissioner staff for bribes and when they refused their homes were demolished.

People with political influence and relatives in the highest posts of Sindh government are spared, meanwhile no one is also looking at the encroachment by former minister Muzafar Shujrah in the city, only poor and helpless people are being targeted to mint money through corruption, Said Sources

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner denied to make any comments on the matter.
