Islamabad: Pakistan’s defense minister Khuwaja Asif told Senate that Pakistan will respond India if it carries surgical strikes inside Pakistani border.
Khuwaja Asif bashing India said, If they dared to carry out strike in Pakistan, will get an unforgettable response from us. He repeated that India’s Past claims of surgical strikes were proved baseless.
He claimed that India’s campaign has already failed in terms of linking Kashmir issue with cross border infiltration and terrorism. India is afraid of Pakistan’s success against terrorism and still trying cheap tactics to defame Pakistan.
The minister informed upper house that that India had carried out 330 ceasefire violations. 290 along the Line of Control and 40 along the Wagah Border, killing 45 civilians and injuring 138 until December 2016.
Khuwaja Asif told the Senate that the violations had been reported to the United Nations Military Observers Group and the UN had been apprised for the purpose of investigations.
The House unanimously adopted a resolution to send a strong message of national unity to India. The resolution was moved in the House by Senator Sehar Kamran.
The Senate also condemned Indian prime minister Modi’s Statement of linking terrorism to Pakistan.
