Islamabad: The government has failed to effectively block terror funding since the implementation of national action plan, stated in a report issued by Pakistan’s interior ministry.

The report is authorized by interior minister Choudhary Nisar Ali Khan, admitting government’s inaction in curbing militancy in the country.

According to report, the government has not yet stopped the operations of banned outfits with new names.

Choudhry Nisar is facing criticism on not implementing NAP in its true spirit and blamed for using it for political victimization of opposition connected people.

The only achievement stated is about the peace in Pakistan’s economic capital Karachi, where crime rate declined by 80 percent.

The report further added that the progress in Balochistan is slow due to reconciliation process.
